Introducing the PrintablesAuto N52 Velocity Stacks
Unlock the full potential of your N52 engine with the PrintablesAuto Velocity Stacks! Engineered to deliver aggressive induction sound, increased torque across the entire rev range, and enhanced top end power output. With supporting modifications, targets of 250+ whp and 300+ hp (crank) are within reach.
The N52 holds a unique distinction as the one of the only production gasoline engine to operate without a traditional throttle body. The Velocity Stacks leverage the factory Valvetronic system to replicate the performance characteristics of individual throttle bodies, using entirely stock hardware.
Design & Construction
Engineered with both performance and serviceability in mind:
∙ The Split runner design divided in sets of two, with bolt hole placement carefully considered for straightforward installation and removal
∙ Threaded heat inserts on all hardware points for long term durability through repeated installation cycles
∙ Printed in PAHT-CF (High Temperature Carbon Fiber Nylon) — offering exceptional strength and heat resistance superior to most consumer-grade printing materials.
∙ Top air filter piece separable from baseplate making at home filter changes much easier!

Required for Installation
∙ IAT Relocation Kit (not included) (Turner Motorsports)
∙ A healthy, well-maintained engine — no unresolved O2, VANOS, Valvetronic, or other fault codes/CEL
∙ Metal alignment dowels from any N52 intake manifold (OEM, 3IM, or N54)
∙ A tune, to run and drive
∙ 1 ft of 3/8 fuel hose (to replace plastic hard line at vapor port)

Tuning
Our exclusive tuner for these velocity stacks is with Chaos Calibrations! Grear communications, performance, and bmw history! Chaos Calibrations offers an Android app for tuning, logging and flashing your bimmer! Their velocity stacks tunes are available here for MSV70 and here for MSV80
Technical Notes
∙ Air filtration - The filter cover bolts from the rear of the manifold via M5 screws with a Hex 4 or T25. Filtration uses a metal internal mesh for structural rigidity, paired with two layers of foam filter media.
∙ Fuel vapor port is built into cylinder 4 via a printed 9mm barb fitting, designed for a standard 3/8” hose. Recommend replacing the hardline hose with a rubber line, and slip onto barb no clamp
∙ Intake manifold gaskets and metal dowels are not included. These metal dowels are required to prevent gasket creep and manifold compression damage.
∙ Air filter ships dry, oiling and ongoing maintenance is the responsibility of the customer with replacement available separately! Top half of the air filter is now removable and can replace your air filter material yourself!)
∙Recommend black RTV for the metal dowels, to prevent dropping on removal from block

- Blank MAP port with x2 M5x10 screws for our MAP port
- With stainless or filtered option, will come with M5x15 or M5x20 screws appropriately, can include more on request
- Air Filter top is removable from stainless base, meaning you can replace the air foam yourself
- Purchase of manifold gives access to file request, if designing, replacing or needed access
