Turn your N52 Velocity Stacks into a N52 CSL intake plenum to cover up all the hot intake air, a big beautiful 8.5" OD bell mouth for beautiful induction noise. This plenum can bolt on top of stainless steel baseplate for a base filtration or directly to the manifold for maximum airflow.

With Confirmed Fitment Including E82, E9X, E60, and E85! 

This 3D printed intake plenum has 5mm of wall thickness and a closed design to block all the surrounding heat besides from the front cold side of the engine to reduce your IAT temps down to ~10C above ambient while driving, dramatically improving heat reduction.

This design also improves the air velocity to each runner improving the powerband for smoother transitions on and off throttle and full throttle pulls.

The intake air temperature sensor will be tighten down to the plenum with a M12 nut, with the sensor poking through the O in my PrintablesAuto logo on the bottom side of the cover. (Recommended stainless, or a good tighten, we don’t want a loose nut getting into a runner)

Required:

• Our PrintablesAuto Velocity Stacks, recommended with stainless steel filter option (air foam filters currently not compatible)
• Turner Motorsports IAT relocation kit for N52 (needed with our stacks tunung)
• (E9X) OE Power steering res bracket deleted / removed (for install and fitment)

Our Power Steering Relocation KIT:

Our power steering relocation kit relocates the reservoir right beside the power steering pump, directly bolted to the block, in the prevision where other engine mount brackets would go. KIT includes:

• x1 engine mount bolt
• x1 thread chaser to bolt hole
• x1 Power Steering Relocation Bracket with x2 bolts and washers

Material Options

Previously offering ASA and high temp carbon fiber nylon (PAHT-CF), but chose to keep the quality as best as we can so limiting to PAHT-CF

• PAHT-CF, High temp carbon fiber nylon, made from the same material as the stacks themselves, Heat deflection of 194C / 381F, Provides the maximum strength, heat resistance and match to the stacks themselves. 

Recommended for the N52 CSL plenum:

• Our velocity stacks heat shield (bolts to the framerail (E82, E9X)) will work, corner of the heat shield MIGHT need to be shaved a little, reduces heat from radiator heat and coolant hoses by blocking the hot side.
• A cold air feed from your lower bumper into the intake side of the engine bay.
• Power steering relocation to block kit,
• Removing the power steering res bracket (E9X) allows for easier installation of the plenum, reaching the lower bolts through that position 
• Replacing the brake booster line with Vibrant 20425 heater hose, clamp on each end. 
• If exposed plastic welds are not pleasing for you, wrapping it in silver or gold reflective tape will hide the exposed welds and improve heat deflection

Q&A:

Q: Can I use my air filter top with this plenum?

A: If you got a air filter top with a previous order, you will have to drill out the rest of the bolt hole, and with long enough bolts, it does bolt up. Fitment issues will occur (with filter top on E9X due to AC system at firewall) (Should work on Z4) 

Q: Will it have the exposed welds

A: Yes, can wrap in gold or silver foil. My printer ain’t fit 23+ inch long assembly 

Q: Can you add MAF?

A: Defeats the purpose of what we are looking to do, not for this manifold setup.
