Similar to the popular D-Style RAM air intake adapter for our US airbox, this D-style of adapter is made for the E82 and E9X cone filter setups, where we have a bumper cold air feed either from one of our fog light intakes or from the bumper velocity pipe.
This bracket holds your 3" air hose at a optimal position to guide all that incoming air towards the intake of your N52, either being cone air or velocity stacks!
OD is 2.75" for a 3" air hose to slip over.
bolting to your factory stud in your rail, uses a M6 nut to lock down to the bracket, …which a nut can be stolen from your power steering bracket, holding the ac hose there is 2 nuts, you only need one
This product is fully compatible with all my other cone filters, heat shield, fog light intakes and air hoses. (not fully tested, but designed)
