KMW-MCAPS Mirror Caps are designed for the BMW E46 sedan and wagon models equipped with base (non-M3) mirror housings. These caps provide a clean, aggressive styling upgrade while maintaining an OEM-like fitment profile.

Designed by KAD Motor Works, with input from Jordan Savard Designs and Distributed by Printables Auto 

These mirror caps are supplied as unfinished parts, giving builders the flexibility to perform final bodywork and finishing to achieve a smooth, paint-ready surface.

Printed in durable ASA filament, the caps offer strong resistance to UV exposure, temperature changes, and outdoor conditions—making them suitable for long-term exterior use.

Installation & Finishing Required

This product is sold as a DIY unfinished component. The buyer is responsible for:

• Test fitting the caps to the mirror housings
• Securing the caps using adhesive tape, epoxy, or bonding method of choice
• Performing any required bodywork (sanding, filling, priming)
• Painting and finishing to match the vehicle

These caps are designed to overlay the factory base mirror caps, and minor prep or adjustment may be required for best fitment.

Why Unfinished?

Supplying the caps in raw form allows for:

• Lower overall cost
• Flexibility in finishing (paint, texture, etc.)
• Custom fitment refinement by the installer
